Tried & the Truth: Travalo

Tried:

With some airlines going as far to charge for carry-on luggage, baggage space is now, more than ever, at a premium. To avoid carrying large and messy fragrance bottles while I’m traveling, or on the go, I use a portable perfume atomizer called Travalo.

This sleek little device converts liquid (in this case, perfume) into a fine mist. It also has a unique pressure regulating system that adjusts to changing air pressure on flights, preventing leaks. Travalo is TSA approved for on board carrying, holds over 65 sprays, weighs less than 1 ounce and is refillable. It’s made of  aircraft grade aluminium and is 98% recyclable.

The nice people at Travalo sent me the Travalo Excel in orange to try out and I found it super easy to fill. Simply place a bottle of perfume on a flat surface and remove the top piece of the spray head. Attach the bottom of the Travalo to the top of the nozzle peg and press down repeatedly to until the Travalo is full (as indicated by the window).

I’ve kept my Travalo in my handbag for over 2 weeks and not a drop of perfume has leaked. I usually stick to the same scent, but if you want to refill using a different perfume, I recommend filling it with water first, then the new perfume.

Truth:

Travalo has an attractive design, is super easy to use, affordable, and is perfect for travelers and perfume addicts alike.

Disclosure: I did not receive any monetary compensation for this review. I did receive a Travalo for review purposes. All thoughts and opinions are mine.

  1. That is awesome! I always get bummed that I can’t take my perfume with me (out of fear it will leak, break or get left in a hot car and go rancid) this seems ideal.
